Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth out in November in Japan, first trailer and TV Commercial

Last week, Atlus announced that our very first look at Persona Q2 would be during the ad break for the Persona 5 anime series, on Saturday. The commercial did air as planned on Saturday, and it revealed that the game’s full title is Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth. It will be released on Nintendo 3DS on November 29th in Japan, and will cost 6 980 Yen.

Here’s the TV Commercial:

The teaser made it obvious the game would feature the characters from Persona 5, but it wasn’t clear whether characters from previous Persona game would also appear. And it turns out that yes, they do! Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth features characters from Persona 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5… that’s a lot of people: 28 of them in total.

Yesterday, Atlus shared a proper trailer for the game, giving us a closer look at the game:

Atlus also announced that players who buy the game at launch (or pre-order it) will get a free DLC Pack: the Persona 3, 4, 5 Battle BGM Set. It includes 9 additonal music tracks, that you can use in Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth instead of those composed for the game.

Here’s the 9 tracks included in the free DLC Pack:

  • Mass Destruction (from Persona 3)
  • Wiping All Out (from Persona 3 Portable)
  • Light the Fire Up in the Night “KAGEJIKAN” (from Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyryinth)
  • Reach Out To The Truth (from Persona 4)
  • Time To Make History (from Persona 4: The Golden)
  • Light the Fire Up in the Night “MAYONAKA” (from Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyryinth)
