Devolver Digital

Yesterday, Devolver Digital (a popular indie game publisher) announced that their very first Nintendo Switch game would be revealed at the Game Developer Conference, next week. Unfortunately, we don’t know if it’s a brand new game, if it’s a port, or… well, anything about it. Fortunately, we only have a few days to wait before finding out!

In an interview with GameSpot, Todd Howards shared a few words about the Nintendo Switch. And it looks like he’s pretty interested in the console itself:

I think it’s really smart what they’ve done. I think it’s the kind of device that only Nintendo could make. It’s exciting to bring Skyrim to the Nintendo audience.

I don’t know where it’s gonna go. But I think it’s a really smart platform. We like it a lot.

Regarding the release of Skyrim on the Nintendo Switch, he explains that Nintendo has been a “very good partner”, and that the company is a lot more interested in Bethesda’s games that in the past:

Whereas before they were less interested in the types of things that we did or some other groups did.

Skyrim (Switch) will be released this Fall in Europe and North America.
