Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country
Earlier today, Nintendo updated the official website for Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country, sharing more details but also gameplay footage and two soundtrack samples (click here to check all this out). If that wasn’t enough for you, Nintendo Spain has uploaded a commercial for the game for you to check out:
Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country (Switch) comes out on September 14th worldwide for owners of the Expansion Pass, and September 21st worldwide at retail.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate demo @ BestBuy
Want to try out Super Smash Bros. Ultimate ahead of release, but can’t attend any of the events where the game is playable? If yes, here’s some good news for you… provided you live in the United States, that is! Yesterday, BestBuy announced that demo stations for the game will be available in September and October in 10 BestBuy stores across the country.
Here’s where and when you will be able to try out the game:
- Sept. 8-9 – New York City and San Jose
- Sept. 15-16 – Los Angeles and Chicago
- Sept. 22-23 –Dallas and Minneapolis
- Sept. 29-30 – Atlanta and Denver
- Oct. 6-7 – Miami and Seattle
It’s not clear whether there will be more opportunities to try out the game at BestBuy stores, or whether demo stations are coming to other retailers (and in other countries). There probably will be a demo version on the Nintendo eShop ahead of launch, but nothing has been announced yet.
Speaking of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, here’s a video about the game at EVO 2018:
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Switch) comes out on December 7th worldwide.

Dragalia Lost
Here’s the English version of the story trailer for Dragalia Lost:
Dragalia Lost (mobile) comes out on September 27th in the United States, Japan, Maccau, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, and later in the rest of the world.
Nintendo vs Typhoon
Yesterday (September 4th), Japan was hit by a violent typhoon that caused lots of damage (tree fell, roof tiles were sent flying, etc.). And it looks like even the logo of Nintendo on one of the walls of the main building in Kyoto wasn’t spared. As you can see for yourself in the picture below, the N fell off, though the other letters are still in place:
