New Nintendo 2DS XL x Super Mario 3D Land bundle

As the holiday period is drawing nearer, Nintendo has announced a new bundle for the New Nintendo 2DS XL in Europe. It will be released on December 1st, and it includes the following:

  • a New Nintendo 2DS XL (Black x Turquoise)
  • a copy of Super Mario 3D Land (Download code)

Here’s what the packaging of that bundle looks like:

With the upcoming release of Super Mario Odyssey, it’s not too surprising that Nintendo would choose Super Mario 3D Land (instead of New Super Mario Bros.). Last year, in Japan, Nintendo released a bundle including New Super Mario Bros. 2 to go with the release of Super Mario Run.

Super Mario Odyssey

Today, V-Jump magazine uploaded a gameplay video for Super Mario Odyssey on their YouTube channel. Unfortunately, it doesn’t show anything really new, so if you’re sick of same ol’ Tostarena, you can pass on this video. If you’re not, it’s still worth checking out!

Here’s the video:

Super Mario Odyssey (Switch) comes out on October 27th worldwide.
