Astral Chain

Every first-party game get its own overview trailer, showcasing its main features and content, and of course, Astral Chain is no exception. In fact, it is sort of an exception, as it’s going to get more than one! Today, Nintendo shared the first overview trailer for the game, this time focusing on action!

Also, the latest official blog post for the game is now live. This one is from Marumi Nakajo, an animator, who came to talk about the Legions (your partners in the game). Click here to check it out!

The “two characters, one player” approach presented a challenge to us animators. But it also gave us plenty of opportunities to create unique poses and movements for each Legion type, starting with their characteristic Sync Attacks – dynamic attacks where the Legion and the player character move and strike together. I hope these make the action of ASTRAL CHAIN even more thrilling for you.

Astral Chain (Switch) comes out on August 30th worldwide.
