As teased yesterday, some new details about Super Nintendo World (Japan) were shared today during a press conference in Japan.

First, here’s a music video:

It was revealed that the theme park will offer an “innovative play experience”, designed to make people believe they have been transported into the world of Super Mario. One attraction, called ? Block, works via an armband called Power Up Band, tied to the Universal Studio Japan. You can hit various ? blocks all over the place, and earn various coins. You can compete with your friends and other visitors to see who will earn the most coins.

Another attraction is called Key Challenge, and tasks you with collecting a certain number of keys. Once you have enough, you can take part in Boss Battles with other visotors.
