Nintendo 3DS: new Firmware update available (Ver. 10.1.0-27)

Last week, Nintendo released a new Firmware update for the Nintendo 3DS. Despite the change in main version number, which went from Ver. 9 to Ver. 10, it didn’t bring any new features (even though Nintendo did tweak a bunch of things behind the scenes, most likely in preparation for another update). The last time a Firmware update for the Nintendo 3DS to bring anything new was back in March…

And unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the next update will add any new features either… It was released a couple of minutes ago, and there’s nothing really new for this version 10.1.0-27, just the usual batch of changes meant to improve the user experience.

Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience

To download this new Firmware (ver. 10.1.0-27) for the Nintendo 3DS, you can simply go to System Settings > Other Settings > 5 > System update, while being connected to the internet. It shouldn’t take more than a few seconds.
