Nintendo 3DS Guide: Louvre getting limited retail release in Japan

Launched back in 2013, Nintendo 3DS Guide: Louvre is an interactive guide for the Louvre museum, in Paris (designed by Shigeru Miyamoto himself). It is available as a download on the Nintendo eShop, as a rental at the Louvre museum, but also as a retail release at the museum’s souvenir shop. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been a proper retail release anywhere else… until now!

Yesterday, Nintendo announced that Nintendo 3DS Guide: Louvre would get a limited retail release in Japan. It will be available for purchase at the National Art Center in Tokyo from March 20th to June 1st, during the “Louvre Museum: Genre Painting – Scenes from Daily Life” exhibition. It will cost 3 900 Yen (+ taxes). The software itself will be identical to the eShop (and Louvre retail) version. For more information about the exhibit, click here!
