NBA 2K20 announced for September 6th

It’s become a tradition: every year, the NBA 2K series gets a new entry (generally in September), but those usually tended to skip Nintendo platforms. However, with the Nintendo Switch, things have certainly changed, and Nintendo will get their basketball fix this year! Take-Two have announced that NBA 2K20 will be released on September 6th worldwide (Europe, North America, and Japan). It doesn’t look like there’s early access with any version of the game this time around.

As usual, the game will be available in several editions:

Regular ($59.99 / 7 000 Yen + taxes, available at retail and on the Nintendo eShop)

  • 5,000 Virtual Currency;
  • 5,000 MyTEAM Points;
  • 5 MyCAREER Skill Boosts;
  • MyPLAYER Clothing Capsule;
  • 10 MyTEAM League packs (delivered one per week);
  • 5 Heat Check packs (delivered one per week beginning at the start of the NBA season).

Digital Deluxe ($79.99 / 9 500 Yen + taxes, only available on the Nintendo eShop)

  • 35,000 Virtual Currency;
  • 10,000 MyTEAM Points;
  • 10 MyCAREER Skill Boosts;
  • MyPLAYER Clothing Capsule;
  • 10 MyTEAM League Packs (delivered one per week);
  • 10 MyTEAM Heat Check Packs (delivered one per week beginning at the start of the NBA season);
  • 1 Sapphire MyTEAM Cover Athlete Card.

Legend Edition ($99.99 / 12 8000 Yen + taxes, available at retail and on the Nintendo eShop)

  • 100,000 Virtual Currency;
  • 50,000 MyTEAM Points;
  • 20 MyCAREER Skill Boosts;
  • MyPLAYER Clothing Capsule;
  • MyPLAYER Apparel Collection;
