Shovel Knight

During the Japanese Nintendo 3DS Direct, the Plague Knight campaign for Shovel Knight was showcased. It was also released right after the presentation! But before you can play with that new character, you first need to download a Software update:

• Nintendo 3DS: Ver. 2.3.1
• Wii U: Ver. 2.3.1

Also, two new Shovel Knight Nintendo 3DS Themes were released following the presentation:

• Shovel Knight 「Yuunounaru Renkinjutsushi」 (Nintendo): 200 Yen
• Shovel Knight 「Let’s Shovel!」 (Nintendo): 200 Yen

Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu Heroes

During the latest Nintendo 3DS Direct, a teaser trailer for Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu Heroes was shown. The trailer itself didn’t reveal much, other than the game would have the player take part in a legendary baseball tournament. Nintendo also confirms that the game would be released both at retail and on the Nintendo eShop.

Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu Heroes (3DS) comes out this Winter in Japan.

Miitopia

At the very end of the Nintendo 3DS Direct in Japan, Nintendo announced a new game: Miitopia. And announce is all they did, along with showing a logo. We have absolutely no idea what the game is all about, or what it looks like, just that it somehow involves Mii. Is it a retail title or a digital-only release? Why was it not mentioned during the European or North America presentations?

Since the game is supposed to launch this year, we can assume Nintendo will not wait too long before properly revealing it.
