[N-Direct] Dragon Quest VIII: first trailer

During today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo showcased the very first trailer for the Nintendo 3DS version of Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.

It shows some of changes found in this version, starting with the voice acting for the main characters (Yangus, Jessica, Angelo, Trode, Dhoulmagus, Morrie, and Red).

We also get a glimpse at the new story scenes, as well as battles (which are much faster than in the original game, on PlayStation 2). It looks like the developers decided to ditch random encounters, as you can now see enemies while exploringn on the field. Finally, two new enemies are shown: Morrie Satan and Pudding Slime.
