Monster Strike: new screenshots showcase some locations, more monsters
A few weeks ago, mixi promised new details about Monster Strike 3DS on a weekly basis. It looks like the company has picked up Monday for those weekly updates, which means its already time for a new one! This week, we get a good look at the town the game takes place in, as well as some more monsters.
As mentioned previously, Monster Strike takes place in Kaminohara: it’s the town where the protagonist grew up, and comes back to at the beginning of the game. And unlike the mobile version, Monster Strike on Nintendo 3DS will have actual 3D fields that players will be able to explore at will. There’s various areas such as Ren’s junior high school (including his classroom), the Coliseum, and more.
The screenshots below show several locations such as:
- swimming pool (at the junior high school)
- rooftop (at the junior high school)
- the cafeteria
- a mysterious laboratory, which seems to play a major role in the story
- famous spots from Shibuya

Monster Strike (3DS) comes out on December 17th in Japan.
