Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch Ver.: save data transfer tool available, more

Last week, Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch Ver. was released on Nintendo Switch, and as announced previously, you can transfer your save data from Monster Hunter X or Monster Hunter XX. But for that, you need to download a save data transfer tool from the Nintendo eShop (Nintendo 3DS), that allows you to do the following:

  • transfer save data from Monster Hunter X (Nintendo 3DS) to Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch Ver. (Nintendo Switch)
  • transfer save data to and from Monster Hunter XX (Nintendo 3DS) to and from Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch Ver. (Nintendo Switch)

For the transfer, you need the following

  • Nintendo Switch console
  • a copy of Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch Ver.
  • Nintendo 3DS console
  • a copy of Monster Hunter X or Monster Hunter XX
  • the save data transfer tool

You can download the app from the Nintendo eShop of the Nintendo 3DS, or from this page (you obviously need a Japanese Nintendo Account for that). You will need 237 blocks / 29MB.

Also, on Wednesday, Capcom released a new update for Monster Hunter XX on Nintendo 3DS, bringing the game to Ver. 1.2.0. With this update, you will be able to play with Nintendo Switch players, though only online. More details about the update can be found on this page! Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch Ver. also received an update (Ver. 1.1.0), which more or less the same changes (more details found on this page).

Next, here’s a trailer for the collaboration content for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, now available:

(As announced previously, all the DLC released for the Nintendo 3DS version of the game is now available, and all future DLC will be released simultaneously on both platforms. As a matter of fact, the first DLC quests are arlready available!).

And finally, here’s some screenshots and various pictures for the game:
