Monster Hunter Stories: demo now available in Japan, pre-loading, file size
Announced last week during the Tokyo Game Show 2016, the demo version for Monster Hunter Stories is now available for download from the Nintendo eShop. As mentioned in this post, this demo allows players to try out the game for themselves, and more precisely the following elements:
- Quest Mode, where they can check out a little bit of the story mode
- Tournament Mode, where they can try out the Challenge Cup
What’s more, players with save data from the Monster Hunter Stories demo will be able to unlock a special costume for Nabiru in the full version of the game.
Here’s some pictures for the demo (and the extra costume you can unlock in the full game):
But that’s not all: the game is also available for pre-loading. If you have a Japanese Nintendo 3DS, you can already purchase and download the game from the Nintendo eShop or Nintendo’s website. This will allow you to start playing at 12AM JST on October 8th! But to do so, you will need at least 13 484 blocks / 1 685.5MB of free space on your SD Card.
Here’s some other “technical” details about the game:
- Genre: RPG
- Players: 1 (Single Player)
- Save data: 1
- Local wireless: Local Multiplayer, StreetPass
