Miiverse: the redesign is now live

As announced last week, the major re-design for Miiverse went live today (July 29th). If you missed the announcement at the beginning of the month, you can click here in order to get up to speed about the various changes that were made to Miiverse. You should also check out this post, with some clarifications about the redesign.

And today, the update went live: you can head over to Miiverse via your web browser or your Nintendo 3DS / Wii U to check out the changes. There’s nothing really surprising, but here’s a couple tidbits about the new Miiverse:

– the User Profile page has been slightly redesign, and now features a link to your Play Journal and your Screenshot Album. There’s also your Recent Drawings, Play Journal entries, Open Discussions and Recent Screenshots on the same page.
– posts from before the Miiverse redesign are now archived for each community (but you can still comment on them, or give a Yeah!).
– in each community, instead of simply having a list of posts like before, there’s now a list of recent Play Journal entries, New Drawings, New Discussions, In-Game Posts (with a link for more posts for each category), as you can see in the screencaps below.
