How to update Miitopia for the Nintendo 3DS?
To download Software updates for Miitopia, you have three options:
- try to launch the game from the Home Menu, while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: just follow the instructions on-screen;
- search for Miitopia in the Nintendo eShop, and select the update;
- use the option in the Nintendo eShop Settings page.
To check that you have the latest version, simply launch the game: the version number is displayed at the top right corner of the bottom (in this case, Ver. 1.1):

- adds the ability to transfer the save data from the demo version (you cannot transfer the save data from the preview version)
- adds a shortcut for Image Share within the game
- Additional notes: as the patch notes make it clear, you first need to update Miitopa to Ver. 1.1 in order to transfer your progress from the demo version (pretty important if you buy the game at retail, as patched copies are not going to arrive in stores before a long while)
