Miitomo: new update available (Ver. 1.2.3)

MiitomoIt’s been almost three weeks since the last update for Miitomo (Ver. 1.2.2, on Android), and Nintendo thought now was the time to release a new one. Unfortunately, this one is of the “stability” kind, and doesn’t add any features at all. In fact, we don’t even know what was fixed/improved for the Android version.

For some reason, the changelog isn’t the same for the Android and iOS version of the app. But in both cases, the version number goes from Ver. 1.2.2 to Ver. 2.2.3.

Here’s the changelog for the update on Android (which requires 9.88MB of free space to download):

Implemented feature improvements.

And here’s the changelog for the update on iOS (which requires 75.9MB of free space to download):

Fixed issues where app would not launch on some devices

To download this new update, simply click on the notification that should appear on your device, or go directly to the Play Store / App Store. Naturally, it’s recommended to download and install this update as soon as possible, even if you haven’t encountered any particular issues with Miitomo. And good news for users who have to use the Miitomo Security Bypasser: this latest version of the app is compatible with Ver. 1.0.5!

To check that you have the latest version of the app installed, simply launch the app: you should see Ver. 1.2.0 in the bottom left corner of the screen. Alternatively, you can check the current version of Miitomo by going to Menu > Other, and looking at the very bottom of the screen.
