This week-end, the latest TV Commercial for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice debuted on Japanese TV, along with the 9th episode of Gyakuten Saiban: Sono “Shinjitsu”, Igiari (the anime series). Unlike the previous ones, this new commercial isn’t based on the Special Court skits, and is closer to a regular commercial. It shows various scenes from the game, including some of the animated cutscenes (in-engine and animated).

Here’s our collection of TV Commercials for the game (only the first one is new):

Head after the break for the rest of this post!

Gyakuten Saiban: Sono “Shinjitsu”, Igiari (anime series)

On Saturday, the 9th episode of the Ace Attorney anime series (Gyakuten Saiban: Sono “Shinjitsu” Igiari! ) aired in Japan. Called Turnabout Goodbyes – Second Trial, it’s now available on Crunchyroll. As usual, Yomiuri TV uploaded the preview for the next episode on YouTube shortly after. Titled “Turnabout Goodbyes – Third Trial”, it will air next Saturday at the usual time (5.30PM JST).

In the previous episode, Phoenix Wright somehow managed to make it through the first day of the trial. After the judge orders both the defense and the prosecution to go back to investigation, Phoenix Wright and Maya Fey go back to Lake Gourdy in order to find more clues. It seems like the caretaker of the boat shop knows something… what is he hiding? He seems like he holds the key to the whole thing…

Finally, we have the rating for the 8th episode of the anime series (which aired on May 21st). During that week, it was the 8th most popular anime episode, with an average household rating of 3.6 for the Kanto region. Average household rating is surprisingly much lower than usual this week, and for pretty much all shows.
