Miitomo to be launched next week in Switzerland

MiitomoWhen Nintendo first talked about the launch of Miitomo, its very first mobile app, it was made pretty clear that it wouldn’t be available in all countries. Right now, it’s only available in: United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Russia, Spain, and Japan (with the latter getting the app first, on March 17th).

Nintendo explained that the app would be launched in more countries gradually, as support structures are set up where needed. And it looks like everything is ready for Miitomo in Switzerland: Nintendo announced today that the app would be launched next week (on June 30th) in that country.

Unfortunately, we don’t know if any other countries will also get Miitomo next week: it would be pretty surprising if only Switzerland did. Also, we can assume that another (major) update will be released next week, as it’s been quite a while since the last one. But of course, until Nintendo announces anything, this is but mere speculation on our part.
