Monster Hunter Generations: collaboration with the Strider series, trailer

Monster Hunter GenerationsMonster Hunter Generations comes out in less than a month in Europe and North America, but Capcom isn’t quite done revealing new nostalgia-filled collaborations for the game. Today, a new one was revealed, and it’s for the Strider series (which debuted in 1989 on Arcade and the Nintendo Entertainment System).

As usual, this collaboration will allow you to take on a special Event Quest. Completing it will give you the necessary materials to craft:

  • an armour based on Strider Hiryu’s outfit
  • the Cypher sword

Here’s the new trailer for Monster Hunter Generations, introducing the Strider collaboration:

This is one of the exclusive collaborations that Capcom created especially for the West. It’s not available in Japan, and in fact, it doesn’t look like it will be released there.

Monster Hunter Generations (3DS) comes out on July 15th in Europe and North America.
