Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where the “Two-Tone Metallic Black” color obtained from Iconic Legendary Ⅱ Musashi X would not be reflected in the database and could not be used for Color Repaint.
  • Fixed an issue in the Daily Achievements,  where defeating certain Megaton Ⅱ enemies would not count towards completion. The relevant enemies are as follows:
    • Cyclops
    • Diablos
    • Lucifer
    • Yoshitsune
  • Fixed an issue for Iconic Legendary Ⅱ only, where, even when equipping exclusively Armorerd Gaudia parts, transformation to Gaudia Gunnard was not possible.
  • Fixed an issue even with five “Upgrade Supporter Alpha” or “Overlimit Supporter Alpha,” the Credit discount effect only activates for four of them (12% discount).
  • The Database has been fixed so that if you do not own the Rogue “Amabushi,” “???” will be displayed.
  • In the Chapter 25 Story Mission and the Replay Mission “Those Who Rage Against Fate,” Teru Asami’s icon has been updated to one appropriate for the story.
  • Fixed an issue in Online Missions where conversations between pilots would not occur if the host pilot was Shizuka Manami or Tetsuo Iwata and the guest pilot was Teru Asami or Victor Yeager.
  • Fixed an issue in the Side Mission “XM-18 Fighting Ad Infinitum” where the cockpit screen could not be opened or the Kakugo state would continue after defeating either Balrog or Satan.
  • Fixed the following issues with the fire rate and damage of ranged weapons that occurred under certain conditions.
    • When using “Stop Shot Speeder” and “Expert Snipe” together, the firing speed does not increase.
    • In version 3.1.0, for some ranged weapons adjusted so that the hit count does not differ significantly regardless of FPS, the effect of “Expert Snipe” may not be applied when the number of shots per unit time decreases due to lag or other perfomance drops. (Gendo, Ikazuchi, Fuga, etc.)
  • Adjusted the damage calculation for Tetsuo Iwata’s ability “Out of Left Field” in response to specific enemy attacks.
  • Fixed an issue where in the Database and in Motherboard Circuit Development the text “Limited-edition ○○ set,” which appears for collaboration special moves like Rocket Punch, would not switch to the specified language under certain conditions.
  • Fixed an issue where the Help entry “Melee Weapons: Guard Break Bash” would not appear under certain conditions.
  • Corrected errors found in some translated texts.
Fixes and Changes
  • Increased the maximum number of “Repair Drives” you can hold to 9999.
  • Made changes so that “Repair Drives” and “EXP Input Modules” can still be received through “Check Delivery” and entering a password even if it would exceed the possession limit. Any excess items will be converted into currency.
  • Updated the Match Filters in Online Missions to display mission bonuses in the mission list when setting up a mission.

Increased Megaton Rank Limit
  • Increased the Megaton Rank limit from 40 to 60.
    • Accordingly, the Overlimit enhancement limit for Legendary Ⅱ and above has also been raised to 60.
Addition of Collaboration Rogues in Colosseum Battles
  • Added Mazinger Z, Getter Robot, Grendizer Rogues, weapons, and Special Moves.
    • Missions that previously dropped normal parts will now also drop parts for the Colosseum.
    • *Grendizer cannot transform into Spazer mode in Colosseum Battles.
Addition of New Ranking
  • Added rankings for the newly added Dreadnought Class Missions and Challenge Missions.
Improvement of Recycle Function
  • In the same Recycle Box, you can now recycle multiple items at once.
  • We have also introduced different legendary drop rates for each box.

Changes to Battle Controls and More
  • You can now move diagonally even when locked on.
  • Adjusted the timing of the Kakugo action button to improve controls when activated.
Adjusted Effects During Missions
  • Adjusted the size and transparency of effects during attacks to improve visibility.
Adjustment of Battle Resumption Animations in Some Story Missions
  • In Story Missions and Replay Missions, we have adjusted the timing so that when resuming a battle from an event during the mission, it doesn’t restart abruptly.
Adjustment of Deployable Rogues in Some Story Missions
  • In some Story Missions and Replay Missions where the deployed Rogue cannot be changed, you can now change your Rogue.
    • However, for the story narrative, there are some instances where Rogues cannot be changed.
Adjustment of Some Weapons

Adjusted the hit counts of certain weapons like Gendo and Ikazuchi to ensure that there isn’t a significant difference in FPS.

Adjustment of Mission Time Limits in Megaton Ⅱ
  • In the Dreadnought Class Megaton Ⅱ Missions, the time limit has been adjusted from 10 minutes to 12 minutes.
Adjustment of Mission Time Limits for Some Challenge Missions
  • Adjusted the time limit for stages 1 to 5 of the 5th Challenge Mission from 8 minutes to 10 minutes.
Buffed Several Rogues’ Set Skills
  • Buffed some Legendary Ⅱ and Iconic Legendary Ⅱ Rogue’s Set Skills, increasing their effects.
Arthur 「Normal Special Move damage for 10 secs after landing one」
Mad Bison 「Consumes 30% durability to increase normal Special Move damage」
Dynamo Gear 「Melee damage for 10 seconds when acquiring a Battle Item」
Cybane 「Melee damage of own unit and nearby allies」
Arthur Riser 「Damage on normal Special Move critical hit」
Fire Loader F 「Melee damage when dashing for over 2 seconds」

  • Buffed some Rogues’ Cross-Passives, increasing their effects.

  • We have also implemented buffs to other Rogues’ Cross Passives.
Adjusted S-AI Link Limit
  • Increased the S-AI Link limit from 20 to 25.
Adjustment of Enhancement Item Returns When Overlimit Fails
  • Increased the number of enhancement items returned when an Overlimit attempt fails.
Adjustment of Missions for Obtaining Collaboration Rogues
  • In the following missions, both Mazinger Z and Getter Robot can now be obtained:
    • “AD-01 Shadow that Swallows the Desert” and “AD-07 Dangerous Desert Search.”
Adjustment of Rogue Part Colors Obtained in Missions
  • The Common to Legendary Rogue Parts colors “Paint – Original” to “Paint – Steam Metallic” (up to 18 colors) can now be obtained from any type of mission.
  • The three types “Paint – Starlight Silver,” “Paint – Legendary Gold,” and “Paint – Two-Tone Metallic Black” can only be obtained in Dreadnought Class Missions.
  • Furthermore, we’ve increased the variety of colors that drop for several Iconic Legendary Rogue parts in Megaton Ⅱ.
Adjustment of Experience Points Earned Upon Mission Completion
  • Increased the Megaton Rank experience points gained from clearing some Megaton Ⅱ missions.
  • Increased the experience points for the Treasure Mission “Hands-On Training.”
Adjustment of Mission Bonus Multipliers
  • Increased the multiplier for the amount of EXP, Credits, and Pilot Points obtained from mission bonuses.
Adjustment of Ace Pilot Coins
  • Increased the amount of Ace Pilot Coins obtained in the Roulette Mission.
  • Additionally, reduced the number of Ace Pilot Coins required to exchange for certain items.
Adjusted Maximum BP Shop Stock
  • Increased the maximum inventory of the BP Shop to make Colosseum Battle items easier to purchase.
Changes and Additions to Various Functions
Addition of New Items to Rogue Collect
  • Added enhancement values +50 and +60.
Changed Maximum Credits
  • Increased the maximum amount of Credits that can be held from 8 digits to 9 digits.
Changed Maximum Quantity of Some Items
  • Increased the maximum amount of Enhancement Resources, Recycle Junk, and Developmental Material that can be held to 9,999.
Changed Treasure Chests in Some Battlefields
  • In the Free Mission “WM-01 Vortex of Miasma” and others using the Surface Crevasse battlefield, the animation when opening treasure chests has been changed to make item acquisition easier and clearer.
Addition of Player Rank and Megaton Rank Display in Online Play
  • In the matching screen and other areas, the Player Rank and Megaton Rank of other players are now displayed.
Change to Display Method of Weapon Proficiency and Stronghold Battle Emblem Experience Bars
  • Changed the display of experience bars to show the experience points required to reach the next level.
    • *There are no changes to the required experience points.
Change to Restricted Streaming Areas
  • You may now capture the end credits.
  • The only restricted area for streaming is now the gallery.
Added Pages to Some Help Topics
  • Added pages to the following Help topics:

Change to Penalty Measures for Unfair Disconnections in Colosseum Battles
  • Players will now be subject to disconnection penalties if they quit the game during Colosseum Battles.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where the “Motherboard” entry in the customization screen would not unlock under certain conditions.
  • Fixed an issue where the ‘Extra Board RC’ in the Neural Board would not unlock under certain conditions.
  • Fixed an issue with Ivory Warrior’s Set Skill “Extra damage with normal melee attacks during Sacrifice Kakugo” where the skill would not activate if a player joined an online mission mid-game.
  • Fixed an issue where Colosseum parts and weapons would not drop in some Free Missions, Megaton II Dreadnought Class Missions, and others.
  • Fixed an issue where the skill effect value of the Motherboard circuit’s battle chip “Dire State Assault” was sometimes lower when upgraded to β than when upgraded to α.
    This fix also applies to circuits that have already been upgraded to β.
  • Fixed a bug where the skill that increases experience points gained in Conquest, which is activated by Stronghold Rank, was not reflected on the result screen.
    This was a display issue on the result screen, and there was no problem with the actual experience points gained.
  • Fixed a bug with the effect value of skills that increase Emblem experience points, which are activated by Stronghold Rank.
  • Fixed a bug where the same rewards would be displayed multiple times in the Weapon Proficiency reward dialog on the Results screen under certain conditions.
  • Fixed a bug where experience points were still obtained under certain conditions in the Weapon Proficiency reward dialog on the Results screen, even at the maximum level of 10.
  • In ver. 3.0.3, some weapons lost their Weapon Proficiency points. We have restored the Weapon Proficiency points to the affected weapons.
  • Fixed a bug where Chat Quips could not be sent or received under certain conditions during online play.
  • Fixed a bug with the scroll amount when using the left and right keys or buttons to scroll through item lists for Upgrade and Overlimit.
  • In Expansion Unit Development, removed the “~” from the displayed skill effect values of Iconic Legendary when developing from Legendary to Iconic Legendary.
  • Fixed a bug in the Big Tank battle where parts in blind spots were being locked onto.
  • Fixed an issue with the Wyvern battle, where sometimes the mission would not clear if both of them were shot down simultaneously.

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue whereby, under certain conditions, using Enhance multiple for Overlimits resulted in items besides those specified being enhanced, and/or consuming a number of credits and enhancement resources beyond the specified value.
    • *Regarding the items that caused this issue to occur; Enhancement Levels have been adjusted, and a portion of the credits and items that were consumed beyond the specified value will be returned.
  • (Nintendo Switch™ Only) Equipment items whose Gear Rank was lowered to the Player Rank upon the transfer of save data have been restored to their previous Gear Rank.
    • *Please perform the update on a device where the Megaton Musashi X data is saved.
    • *If the equipment is enhanced beyond its previous Gear Rank after transferring save data, the higher Gear Rank will be kept.
    • *Resources and credits spent on returning the Gear Rank to its previous state will be returned.
  • Fixed an issue whereby deploying on a mission with certain parts equipped caused the game to end while loading, or prevented the player from progressing.
  • ●Fixed an issue whereby, after transferring save data, some transferred items, etc. could no longer be used.
    • *This issue affected Yamato’s Student Uniform, Victory Pose: Kabuki, and the Specified Development of the Rogue Proto-Frame 0X.
  • Fixed an issue in Chapter 3 of the story whereby there was a rare chance that the player would become unable to progress after entering Classroom 2-A in Seikoku Academy for the first time.
  • Fixed an issue in the Chapter 6 Story Mission “Life or Death,” whereby, under certain conditions, the player would become unable to progress.
  • Fixed an issue in Chapter 2 of the story in “New Game +,” whereby there was a rare chance that the player would become unable to progress after leaving Morishita Electronics.
  • Fixed an issue with the Chapter 2 Customization tutorial whereby the player would become unable to progress if they selected a Light Form Rogue part.
  • Fixed an issue whereby there was a rare chance the player would be unable to Cross Save.
    • *This issue only occurred in the Nintendo Switch™ version.
    • Fixed an issue whereby, upon changing to the Details page when upgrading, the number of required resources did not display correctly.
    • Fixed an issue with the PlayStation®5 version whereby the sound would skip.
  • Fixed an issue with potency that was reducing the skill potency of certain obtained weapons to 0.
    • *This issue affected Bow-Quns, etc. that were obtained immediately after pre-orders for PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5 started on April 22nd.
  • Fixed an issue whereby, under certain conditions, the account name did not display correctly in the rankings displayed during the results of the Colosseum Ranked Matches.
  • Fixed an issue with how account names displayed in rankings when the player’s Epic Games account was linked.
  • Fixed the number of missions in the info text of the Megaton Ⅱ Breaker rankings.
  • Corrected the weapon drop information to “Flame Weapons” in the Side Mission “The Dark King.”
    • *Dropped items have not been changed.
  • Corrected a typographical error in the text of Takumi Kindaichi’s Database entry.
    • *This error was only present in Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.
  • Corrected a mistranslation that appeared in Momoka’s dialogue in Classroom 2-A.
  • Corrected Balto’s dialogue in the Lost Village to include an omission made in the translation.
  • Corrected mistranslations in some of the Decal names.
    • *Only in English.
  • Fixed an issue whereby voices did not play when some characters were spoken to in the Photography Club and Newspaper Club in Seikoku Academy.
  • Fixed an issue whereby certain characters could not be entered for the password.
  • Fixed an issue with Weapon Proficiency whereby equipping certain weapons resulted in other weapons gaining Proficiency Points as well.
  • Fixed a mistake present in all languages besides Japanese concerning the “Options > Game Settings” Cross Play settings explanation.
  • Fixed an issue with Auto-Dismantle whereby the Legendary Ⅱ and Iconic Legendary Ⅱ settings did not function correctly.
  • Fixed an issue with Online Missions whereby, under certain conditions, weapons that were not equipped gained Proficiency Points.
  • Adjusted the Rail Shooter’s hit count so that it would be less affected by FPS settings.
  • Also fixed additional minor issues.
Fixes and Changes
  • Set the “Continue” option to display as long as Cross Save is active, so players can now check Cross Save data even when there is no save data.
  • Removed EXP Input Module from Player Rank 80 Daily Achievements rewards.

How to download updates for MEGATON MUSASHI W: WIRED for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for MEGATON MUSASHI W: WIRED, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
