Master Detective Archives: Rain Code – Latest details, videos, and pictures (Archives 2)

Master Detective Archives: Rain Code is the latest game from the creator of Danganronpa (Kazutaka Kodaka), and it’s coming to Nintendo Switch on June 30th worldwide. And in the months leading to launch, Spike-Chunsoft are planning to share various details, videos, and pictures for the game.

April 27th

Amaterasu is mega corporation based in Kanai Ward, which is under its control. The company’s security department even serves as police force. Those who do not comply with their rules are arrested on the spot, and naturally, any case that inconveniences the company is covered up.

April 26th

Here’s a video showcasing another area of Kanai Ward: Ginma District!

The high-class commercial district. It looks orderly compared to Kamasaki District, and the blue lighting creates a calm atmosphere. There are cafes and restaurants, as well as landmarks like the art gallery and clocktower.

April 24th

The Riverbank is an area of Kanai Ward located on the banks of a river flowing through town. It is rumoured that the HQ of the Nocturnal Detective Agency, the Kanai branch of the World Detective Organisation, is located there. But at first glance, it looks like there really is nothing to see there…

April 19th

The Kamasaki District is the busiest and liveliest area in Kanai Ward. It looks like a multi-layered structure, lined up with countless shops and food stalls, stairs and bridges for pedestrians, and more. Meat Buns is one of the specialties of Kanai Ward, and the Kamasaki District is where you want to go to find the tastiest ones!

April 6th

Here’s a character profile for Yakou Furio (voiced by Kaiji Tang in English, and Takehito Koyasu in Japanese):

Head of the Nocturnal Detective Agency. An aloof and elusive man. Though not a Master Detective, he is certified by the WDO, indicating he’s an excellent detective.

April 4th

Here’s a character profile for Melami Goldmine (voiced by Lauren Landa in English, and Yukari Tamura in Japanese):

The Medium Detective can use herself as a vessel to summon souls of the departed. Flamboyant and intelligent, her mind is often focused on clothes.
