Maintenance for the Nintendo eShop, Wii U/3DS games scheduled for tonight
Update: Nintendo changed the starting time of the Nintendo eShop maintenance, and announced that there would also be some for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games. Check out below for all the details!

It looks like the Nintendo eShop maintenance last night wasn’t enough for Nintendo, who announced another one this morning. This one will take place at the usual time, on Monday night, and will last around 3 hours. Also, please note that additional (routine) maintenance for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games should be announced by Monday evening!
Here’s the list of services impacted during the first period:
- Wii U: online play, leaderboard (some online services)
- Nintendo 3DS: online play, leaderboards (some online services)
- Nintendo 3DS: The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes (all online services)
- Nintendo 3DS: Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer (all online services)
The maintenance will take place on:
- Europe: January 18th (10PM) to January 19th (3AM)
- UK: January 18th (9PM) to January 19th (2AM)
- North America (ET): January 18th (4PM to 9PM)
- North America (PT): January 18th (1PM to 6PM)
- Japan: January 19th (6AM to 11AM)
