Maintenance for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U / 3DS taking place later today

Yesterday evening, Nintendo announced that online services for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS would be down for maintenance, later today. This is obviously in preparation for the Software update for the game (fixing the glitch with Diddy Kong), which will most likely be released following this maintenance period.

Here’s the list of services impacted by this maintenance:

  • Wii U: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (online play and leaderboards)
  • Nintendo 3DS: Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS (online play and leaderboards)

This maintenance will take place on:

– Europe: October 8th (9.50AM to 11AM)
– UK: October 8th (8.50AM to 10AM)
– North America (EDT): October 8th (3.50AM to 5AM)
– North America (PDT): October 8th (12.50AM to 2AM)
– Japan: October 8th (4.50PM to 6PM)
