Legend of Kay Anniversary (Wii U) – Nintendo eShop Trailer and screenshots

Legend of Kay Anniversary is a remaster of the game, which originally came out in 2005 on PlayStation 2 (before being ported on the Nintendo DS in 2010). This Wii U version will feature HD cutscenes, 60FPS gameplay, and various other enhancements such as “high resolution textures” and “modern rendering techniques”.

Yesterday, Nintendo opened the game’s official page on their website, giving us some additional details about the game, but also some screenshots and a trailer. In the game, you’ll get to play as Kay (a cat), who spends his day training relentlessly. One day, the leader of the gorillas (Minister Shun) decides to conquer Kay’s people, and the brave feline decides to go confront him.

He’ll then go on journey across Yenching, in order to save his people and kick the behind of many enemies using martial arts, various weapons, his very claws, but also powerful combos.

Here’s some “technical” details about the game:

– Players: 1
– Languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian
– Controllers: Wii U GamePad, Wii U Pro Controller
– Internet Features
– Price: TBC
