Langrisser Re:Incarnation -Tensei- was revealed back in February, in Famitsu magazine. But until today, we didn’t get to see the game in action (not even via a trailer). Masaya Games and Extreme have revealed new information and some screenshots / artworks on a regular basis, but it was mostly about the various characters of the game.
But today, Langrisser Re:Incarnation -Tensei- was showcased during a livestream on NicoNico. We did get to see a bit of gameplay footage from the game, but unfortunately, no trailer was shown.
Here’s a first video, which shows the very beginning of the game (when you chose various options that will influence your playthrough, such as difficulty). There’s also some gameplay footage, with the grid-based battle system (this part starts at 4:50).
The second video shows an Event scene, where Ares chats with Hilda. The two voice actors for those characters actually try to do a live performance of this Event scene, but this isn’t really easy when the MC and the guest just keep making jokes!
Here’s the video:
Langrisser Re:Incarnation -Tensei- (3DS) comes out on July 23rd in Japan.
