Japan: video games sales for January (Famitsu)
In its latest issue, Famitsu magazine reveals the Top 30 for Japanese video games sales in January. Unsurprisingly, Youkai Watch 2: Shin Uchi was the best-seller, with sales almost twice as good as Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire. As for Super Smash Bros., the Wii U version is suprisingly close to the 3DS one, especially without the holiday period to boost its sales: while it’s clear it will never, ever catch up with the 3DS version, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U certainly did quite well in Japan.
