Japan: more sales data (December 2015, Monthly Hardware sales, more)

Yesterday, Famitsu published its montly report for the Japanese market. First, we have the 5 best-selling games of the month:

  1. [3DS] Monster Hunter X (Capcom): 899 873 units sold
  2. [3DS] Monster Strike (mixi): 636 709 units sold
  3. [3DS] Yo-kai Watch Busters (Level-5): 309 674 units sold
  4. [Wii U] Splatoon (Nintendo): 244 957 units sold
  5. [Wii U] Super Mario Maker (Nintendo): 240 511 units sold

Monster Hunter XNext, we have the two best-selling platforms:

  1. Nintendo 3DS: 503 619 units sold (238 602 units in November)
  2. Wii U: 253 209 units sold (PlayStation 4 was #2 last month with 131 581 units sold)

Finally, the Top 3 of Publishers:

  1. Nintendo: 1.36 million units sold
  2. Capcom: 927 000 units sold
  3. mixi: 637 000 units sold

Sales go from November 30th to December 27th.
