Japan: “Heat Up” eShop Sale now live, 12 new SNES titles now on N3DS Virtual Console

Today, Nintendo announced that a special sale on the Nintendo eShop in Japan, called “Heat Up Sale”. It starts on Wednesday (August 23rd), and will have no less than 50 games on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS discounted, with 20% off. Now that definitely seems pretty lame for a sale, but there’s an additional discount for Nintendo Account holders: another 20% off… so 40% off in total!
The complete list of games on sale will be added to the Nintendo eShop Sales page when said sale is live, on Wednesday! The sale runs until September 4th.
And on the same day the sale goes live, no less than 12 (yes, 12!) new Virtual Console titles will go live on the New Nintendo 3DS in Japan. And yes, they’re part of the sale, which means they will be available with a discount right from the get go!
