[Brief] Japan: Fire Emblem Fates New 3DS XL pre-orders starting next week

During the latest Japanese Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo announced that the Fire Emblem Fates New Nintendo 3DS XL would come out in April in Japan. It will cost 20 304 Yen, and just like in Europe, the pack will not include Fire Emblem Fates (or any other game).

Officially, this model of New Nintendo 3DS XL is coming out in April, but we still don’t know on which day yet. But today, Nintendo announced on Twitter that pre-orders would start next week. While not confirmed yet, it’s highly likely the release date will be April 28th (just like the Monster Hunter X pack). In fact, the SNES New Nintendo 3DS XL will most likely release on April 28th, too.

After all, April 28th is the last day before the start of the Golden Week (a series of public holidays), which is usually a pretty good period for video game sales. Besides, if Nintendo wants to release it in April, but hasn’t kicked off pre-orders yet, there isn’t that many options left!

Here’s some pictures of the Fire Emblem Fates New Nintendo 3DS XL:

Talking of Fire Emblem Fates, here’s more screenshots for the European release (after the break!):
