[Japan Expo] DBZ: Extreme Butoden – English trailer, pre-order bonuses, N3DS pack for Europe

Today is the first day of the Japan Expo (the biggest event dedicated to Japanese culture in Europe), which takes place until Sunday, July 5th in Paris. Just like the past few years, Bandai-Namco is present on the showfloor with its own booth, and the usual batch of announcements / updates for upcoming games.

Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden

Earlier this morning, Bandai-Namco uploaded the very first trailer in English for Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden (it’s exactly the same as one of the Japanese trailers, but with subtitles). It introduces some of the characters, but also the various gameplay elements of the game: special attacks, Z-Assist characters, and more.

Here it is:

Bandai-Namco also announced that a special New Nintendo 3DS Pack would be released in Europe. It includes:

– Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden (pre-installed)
– a black New Nintendo 3DS
– exclusive cover plates
– Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden 2 (digtal, only in Japanese)

Finally, Bandai-Namco revealed the pre-order bonuses for the game (as seen as the trailer above):

– early access to 6 support characters (Kid Goku, Garlic Jr., Super Vegito, Meta-Cooler, Baby Goku and Kid Gohan)
– Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden 2 (digtal, only in Japanese)

Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden (3DS) comes out on October 16th in Europe, and October 20th in North America.
