Indie news (Apr. 3): Yooka-Laylee @ EGX Rezzed and Yooka-Laylee Rap; more

Today’s Indie news: recording of the Yooka-Laylee panel at EGX Rezzed + Yooka-Laylee rap, but also…

  • Go! Go! Kokopolo 3D: Space Recipe for Disaster
  • Sudoku Party

Yooka-Laylee

Last week, Playtonic Games held a panel about Yooka-Laylee at EGX Rezzed, the same event where they first showed Project Ukulele, which later came to be known as Yooka-Laylee. The panel features some gameplay footage from the final version of the game, as well as an interview of the developers!

Join developers from Playtonic as they play through the opening stages of this wonderfully colourful 3D platformer before taking your questions. This is a worldwide exclusive session and the only chance you’ll have to see the final version of the game before it’s released.

Also, here’s the rap video uploaded on April’s Fools:

Yooka-Laylee (Switch – eShop) comes out later this year in Europe and North America.

Go! Go! Kokopolo 3D: Space Recipe for Disaster

After years of waiting, Go! Go! Kokopolo 3D: Space Recipe for Disaster is finally available on the Nintendo eShop of the Nintendo 3DS, in Europe and North America. Unfortunately, it looks like there’s an issue with the Recipe Cards: some of them are missing. Fortunately, the developers have confirmed they’re not only aware of the issue, but also working on a patch.

Sudoku Party

Heads up for North America puzzle game fans: the cross-buy offer for Sudoku Party is now live, which means that as long as the two consoles are using the same Nintendo Network ID, you can buy the game on Wii U and get the Nintendo 3DS version for free (or vice-versa).
