Inazuma Eleven Ares: details and screenshots for the gameplay systems, characters

Today, Level-5 updated the official website for Inazuma Eleven Ares, revealing various details about the game: gameplay systems, characters, and more. We also get the very first official screenshots from the actual game, and not a really early version of it.

Inazuma Eleven Ares – System

This section introduces the various gameplay systems found in the game.

Inazuma Eleven Ares has you take part in the Football Frontier (a tournament that determines the best junior high-school football team in Japan), naturally in order to become the very best!

Just like previous Inazuma Eleven titles, this game is divided in two main parts:

  • RPG parts, where you scout players for your team and take part in special training;
  • Battle parts, where you take the team you’ve trained and take part in football matches against other teams.

For this game, Level-5 promises no less than anime-level graphics, with characters looking just like they do in the anime series.

If you’ve watched the anime series, you’re already aware of the basic premise for the game. The players from the Inakuni Soccer Club transfer to Raimon in order to save their club. The old members of Raimon Eleven have been sent all over the country in order to help strengthen the various football teams in the country!

Just like previous Inazuma Eleven games, Inazuma Eleven Ares has you scout and train players, in order to create your very own football team.

In one of the screenshots below, you can see Goujin Tetsunosuke and Hiyori Masakatsu in front of the Raimon Eleven club room. It looks like the former is trying to learn a Hissatsu Technique known as “Fire Lemonade” (which doesn’t exist, as you already know if you’ve watched the anime series!). Another screenshot shows the player in front of THE EDGE, a hair selon that appears in Episode 6 of Inazuma Eleven: Outer Code!

Several stadiums appear in the game:

  • Inakuni High Ground
  • Eisei Stadium
  • Zeus Stadium

As you’re probably well aware, the football matches in Inazuma Eleven are nothing like actual football. It’s “Super High Dimensional Football”, where you can pull off impressive (and completely impossible in real life) moves known as “Hissatsu Techniques” to defeat your opponents.

Here’s some screenshots for the game:
