Last week-end, Idea Factory International made quite a few announcements during their IFI Summer Festival 2024 event: new games, updates on previously announced titles, and more. In this post, you will find the list of all the announcements, complete with details and trailers!
9 R.I.P.
Idea Factory International has revealed the contents of the Limited Edition of 9 R.I.P. (out later this year in Europe and North America):

Neptunia Riders VS Dogoos
Released last month in Japan, Neptunia Riders VS Dogoos is headed to Europe and North America! It will launch in those two regions sometimes in 2025.
Can you help Uzume and the Goddesses escape a dimension filled with Dogoos?!
This dimension is different from Gamindustri… A vast number of distinct Dogoos are appearing and threatening to cover the land. To escape from this otherworldly realm, a lone rider surveys the mysterious world in search of an exit.
- Dogoo Day Care — Choose from 6 playable characters, scour the land on your trusty bike, and collect as many variants of Dogoos as possible to win! As players progress through 15 Dogoo-filled stages, Uzume must find a way to snap her friends out of their weird fascination with Dogoos!
- The Dogoo Bounty Hunter — Collecting Dogoos can be a cinch, but stealing Dogoos is a whole ‘notha ball game! Certain characters shine more in close combat, while others excel in long-range attacks. Find the strengths (and weaknesses, of course!) to become a true Dogoo bounty hunter!
- These Dogoos Do Bike Back — As squishy and adorable as these Dogoos are, some can be quite the menace. Each Dogoo has specific types of behaviors, as well as positive/negative effects when collecting them. By learning the positive and negative effects of the Dogoos, you can use them to your advantage and even throw the nasty ones to your opponent!
- Stunt Your Bike — Want to show off your ride in the next bike meet? Impress (or scare?) Dogoos by altering the bike’s body, muffler, tires, and other accessories! These customizations can give the Goddesses increased defense, max speed, acceleration, and even maneuverability. These upgrades can ultimately give you the winning edge!
Battlefield Waltz
Known as Senjou no Waltz in Japan, Battlefield Waltz is another Otome Visual Novel headed to Europe and North America! It will launch in both regions sometimes in 2025.

Death end re;Quest: Code Z
Death end re;Quest: Code Z, the latest entry in the Death end re;Quest series, is headed to Europe and North America sometime next year!

Temirana: The Lucky Princess and the Tragic Knights
Temirana: The Lucky Princess and the Tragic Knights (known as Temirana Koku no Tsuiteru Hime to Tsuitenai Kishi Dan in Japan) is the 3rd Otome Visual Novel featured during IFI Summer Festival 2024. It will launch in Europe and North America sometimes in 2025.
In this world, one’s status and occupation are determined by the month they were born. About 15 years ago in the eastern kingdom of Temirana, the third princess was born: a baby with a birthmark on her forehead. This child was rumored to be the “Cursed Princess,” and was forced to live in a house far from her family, away from the castle. But things are about to change.
As her 16th birthday approaches, she attends the dueling tournament known as Helis Duelm. There, she sees five men glowing with a dazzlingly strong light. Indeed, the “Cursed Princess” possessed a special and lucky power. Whenever her life might be in danger, people and places would shine as if to warn her. Those acquainted with her power warn that those men may have shone because they were dangerous…but she knows their light is different from any she’s seen before.
Trusting her intuition, the princess invites the five men to join her order of knights. However, some of them have no experience with the sword, and others lack interest in knighthood at all. Can the princess and her small company of five knights overcome the tragedy on the horizon?
Touhou Spell Carnival
Idea Factory International are bringing Touhou Spell Carnival to Europe and North America later this year. It will feature Japanese voices and text in English, French, and Spanish (Spain).
Gensokyo — A remote land isolated from the Outside World, where humans and youkai live side-by-side. One day, the shrine maiden of Hakurei Shrine, Reimu Hakurei, spots mysterious pillars towering over various locations throughout Gensokyo. These pillars signaled the start of the Spell Carnival, a festival hosted by Yukari Yakumo where one must put their Spell Cards on the line in battle. In order to investigate the true intentions of Yukari Yakumo, who initiated the Spell Carnival so suddenly, Reimu Hakurei joins the fight for Spell Cards.
- Strategy RPG Meets Bullet Hell Mania — Battle in a grid system with a unique blend of real-time strategy elements and bullet hell madness! Hone in your strategy skills by moving characters to grid-specifc areas, graze enemy bullets, and unleash special skills in one simultaneous, action-packed battle!
- Gotta Stay Prepped — Don’t just run into battle unprepared! Organize your party’s positioning on the grid, assign skills according to your enemies’ weaknesses, and choose wisely which Ace Spell Card you’ll use.
- Need a Boost? — Players will occasionally see objects and attributes during battle. Objects are able to block incoming bullets and also provide additional effects once destroyed. Attributes can provide boosts and status effects. Use these boosts to your advantage and maybe you’ll be able to collect extra bonus loot from your victories!
- Find Peace in the Hakurei Shrine — Explore the Hakurei Shrine through the lens of Reimu Hakurei! Keep tabs on any active missions, revisit sub-events, strike a pose with Photo Mode, and even talk to some of your favorite Touhou Project characters in Hakurei Shrine as you progress through the story!
