Hyper Sentinel announced for the Nintendo Switch; trailer, details, and screens
With Graceful Explosion Machine, fans of shoot ’em up already have quite the gem to blast through (puns totally intended). But those of you who are already looking for the next thing will be glad to learn that Hyper Sentinel will be released this Summer on the Nintendo Switch, alongside the other platforms it was previously announced for.
For those who never heard of that game before, it’s a “Neo-retro shoot ‘em up”, described as a “Super-slick arcade-inspired shooter” by Huey Games, its publisher. Hyper Sentinel had a successful run on Kickstarter: it was funded 18 days before the end of the campaign.
Hyper Sentinel offers “super-slick, ultra-fast arcade shooter with an explosive pixel-art aesthetic”, and at 60FPS to boot. There’s 12 action-packed levels to blast through, with various power-ups to choose from, and of course some pretty epic boss battles.

- Heart-pumping SID-style chiptune soundtrack by FRACTURES
