Germany: Top 20 Software for 2023

game (the German Games Industry Association) has shared their latest annual chart for the best-selling games in Germany. The chart below shows the Top 20 Software for 2023, and includes both PC and console games. It also include digital sales, though do keep in mind that not all publishers share their digital data (Nintendo platforms are one of the notable examples of platforms without digital sales).

Unsurprisingly, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was the best-selling Nintendo Switch exclusive: it ranked #5. Super Mario Bros. Wonder isn’t far behind (it ranked #6), and that’s despite it launching much later in the year.

There’s several multiplatform titles in the Top 20, but seeing that game does not provide any platform breakdown, it’s unclear how much each version sold.
