Fire Emblem Fates

Fire Emblem Fates

During the Japanese Nintendo Direct, a third wave of DLC maps for Fire Emblem Fates was announced. As usual, there’s a pack (sold 2 000 Yen) which inludes all the DLC maps, for players who want to buy everything at once.

Here’s the list of additional content:

March 4th

Anna’s Gift 2

  • Reward: Paragon and Boots
  • Price: Free

The first time you select this DLC, you’ll receive a Paragon scroll (which allows you to learn Paragon, which doubles the amount of experience gained), and a pair of Boots (Movement +1). There’s currently no way to get Paragon. After downloading, select “Anna’s Gift 2” from the list of downloaded maps, at the Dragon’s Gate.

March 16th

Recollections of Bubbles

  • Reward: Point Blank scroll, etc.
  • Difficulty: 3 stars
  • Price: 1500 Yen

The Deeprealms are under attack, and the children have lost both their parents and their homes. Those who did manage to escape early encounter new friends, and have to face an inescapable battle. Recollection of Bubbles is a set of 6 maps, that focus on the children characters (like The Future Past in Fire Emblem Awakening). However, there’s a big difference: you only control the children, from the looks of it. What’s more, there’s more than one reward: it’s quite likely that each map nets you a separate reward when beat.

NB: the first three maps will be available on March 16th, and the final three maps will be available on March 23rd.

Hoshidan Festival of Bonds

  • Reward: Special illustrations, parent-child conversations, Exalt’s Brand
  • Difficulty: 1 star
  • Price: 250 Yen

In this DLC, you end up visiting Hoshido in another dimension. A festival celebrating the growth of children is taking place, but some crooks have come to spoil the fun. This DLC is actually “The Scramble” maps from Fire Emblem Awakening are back! Beating it again and again allows you to stock up on endless amounts of the Exalt’s Brand (it allows a female unit to change to the Great Lord class).

NB: The conversations are different for each combination.

Nohrian Festival of Bonds

Reward: Special illustrations, 1st generation conversations, Hero’s Brand
Difficulty: 1 star
Price: 250 Yen

In this DLC, you end up visiting Norh in another dimension. A festival to celebrate the ties between friends is taking place, but Faceless have come to spoil the fun. Beating it again and again allows you to get an infinite supply of the Hero’s Brand (which allows a male unit to change to the Lodestar class).

NB: this map allows you enjoy conversations between characters who don’t support each other (such as Ryoma and Scarlet, Azura and Camilla, Elise and Izana, etc.), along with those who actually do.
