Fire Emblem Fates: first update available (1.1.0); more 3DS games updated for the NFC Adapter

Fire Emblem Fates

Today, Nintendo released the first Software update for Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright and Conquest, which is now in version 1.1.0. Unfortunately, it doesn’t add anything other than compatibility with the NFC Adapter for the Nintendo 3DS, along with the usual changes and fixes meant to improve the gameplay experience.

If you’re planning to update the game, make sure you pick up the right update. Indeed, there’s actually 4 different updates for Fire Emblem Fates:

– Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright
– Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest
– Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition
– Fire Emblem Fates (download version)

To update the game, you have two options:

– select the game from the Home Menu, while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when trying to launch the game.
– search for the update on the Nintendo eShop and install it from there.

When you have downloaded the update, launch the game: you should see the following at the bottom right of the bottom screen:

Fire Emblem Fates update 1NB: if you’re planning to play online, the update is mandatory.
