Fire Emblem Echoes: pictures of the Soundtrack CD, artbook, Blu-Ray; soundtrack samples

As announced yesterday, Nintendo began taking pre-orders for the VALENTIA COMPLETE edition, for Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia (which is a My Nintendo exclusive, in Japan). As we expected, Nintendo shared some pictures of the contents of that edition today, such as the CD and the artbook.

First, here’s the VALENTIA ARTBOOK, which is only found in the VALENTIA COMPLETE edition:

Next, here’s the cover of the SOUND SELECTION Echoes CD, which is found in both the Limited Edition and the VALENTIA COMPLETE edition:

This CD includes 30 tracks, with both the original version of tracks (from Fire Emblem Gaiden, on the Famicom / NES) and their arrangements (from Fire Emblem Echoes: Sahdows on Valentia, on Nintendo 3DS). We don’t have the tracklist for the CD just yet, but Nintendo has shared 4 samples:

  1. Original ver. – Battle 1 (Player side)
  2. Arrange ver. – The Fearless Naked Blade
  3. Original ver. – Overworld map 2 (Celica’s Departure)
  4. Arrange ver. – Ark of Dawn

Then, we have the Fire Emblem HD Movie Collection: a collection of animated cutscenes from various Fire Emblem games, from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn to Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadow of Valentia, including Fire Emblem Awakening and Fire Emblem Fates… all in HD, on a Blu-Ray disc (also includes some bonus content, not available anywhere else). Total runtime: about 90 minutes.

Finally, here’s a reminder of the content of both limited editions:

Limited Edition (6 980 Yen)

  • a physical copy of Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia
  • Fire Emblem 0 card featuring Alm (also offered as an early purchase bonus for the regular edition)

DLC will also be sold separately for players who are not buying the Limited Edition. Naturally, the various bits of DLC will only be unlocked once they’ve been released, even if you have a download code;
  • SOUND SELECTION ECHOES: a soundtrack CD with tracks from the original game (Fire Emblem Gaiden) and this re-imagining.
