Europe: video games sales for Week 44 (UK), Week 43 (France), more
Here’s the latest video games sales data for various European countries (+ Australia and New Zeland):
United Kingdom – Video Games Sales (Week 44)
This week, one lone game managed to find its way back into the Top 40: Mario Kart 7, which is ranked #39. Unfortunately, it’s the only Nintendo 3DS game in the Top 40 (which means it’s also the best-seller on that platform), and there isn’t a single Wii U game in there (Skylanders Imaginators is #1).
France – Video Games Sales (Week 43)
Unfortunately for Nintendo, it’s yet another week without a game on a Nintendo platform in the Top 5. On Wii U, Paper Mario: Color Splash keeps on dominating sales, followed by Skylanders Imaginators and Just Dance 2017. On Nintendo 3DS, it’s Disney Magical World 2 we find at #1, followed by the two editions of Yo-kai Watch.
Australia/New Zealand Video Games Sales (Week 43)
In Australia and New Zealand, there isn’t a single game left in the Top 10 that’s available on either the Wii U or the Nintendo 3DS. On Nintendo 3DS, Yo-kai Watch 2 is dominating sales in Australia, while Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire is #1 in New Zeland. On Wii U, Skylanders Imaginators is the best-seller on Wii U in Australia, while Skylanders Imaginators sold the best in New Zealand.
