Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: trailer for Flavio

On Wednesday, Atlus USA revealed a brand new trailer for Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight. This time around, we get a good look at another of the characters from the Story Mode (where you play with a fixed party): Flavio, who happens to be a Survivalist.

His weapon of choice is the Bow, that he uses to inflict status debuffs. With “Flank Shot” (a skill that he gets early in the adventure), he can even deal damage to multiple enemies at once. What’s more, his class (Survivalists) allows him to use various skills, in order to dodge enemy attacks and more:

– Trick Step: lowers the enemies’ hit rate;
– Chain Dance: increase the evade rate of your target;
– Scapegoat: lowers incoming damage to an ally… but forces you to act as a shield for the whole party.

Survivalists can also use Risk Perception, in order to find chest and F.O.E. in the labyrinths, but also raise the party’s sneak-attack rate, lower the encounter rate in dungeon, and more… talk about a handy skill!

Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight (3DS) comes out on August 4th in North America, and February 12th in Europe.
