eShop news (Dec. 12): Shakedown Hawaii / Sneaky Ninja / Hit Ninja / Mercenaries Saga 3

Today’s Indie news: one lone GIF for Shakedown Hawaii, but also…

  • Sneaky Ninja
  • Hit Ninja
  • Mercenaries Saga 3

Shakedown Hawaii

On Saturday, VBlank Entertainment shared one lone GIF for Shakedown Hawaii; it showcases the idle animation of the protagonist. VBlank also confirmed (in a separate tweet) that even the OG Nintendo 3DS would be able to run the game at 60FPS: that’s how optimised Shakedown Hawaii will be!

Shakedown Hawaii (3DS eShop) should be released next year.

Sneaky Ninja

Yesterday, Upfall Studios shared the latest gameplay clip for Sneaky Ninja.

This one showcases one of the snow levels of the game, which feature an interesting game mechanic: cold. Our little ninja clearly wasn’t prepared for the cold blizzard, as he loses health when standing in the cold. You have to go near torches in order to warm yourself, and get back some health (with some cool snow monkeys to keep you company). It’s easy to imagine this mechanic will make going through certain sections rather tricky…

Here’s the gameplay clip for the snow levels in Sneaky Ninja:

Sneaky Ninja (Wii U) will be released next year in Europe and North America.

Hit Ninja

Yesterday, Petite Games made a surprise announcement: Hit Ninja (on New Nintendo 3DS) will be released on December 22nd in North America (with Europe getting the game next year). Not only it’s Petite Games’ very first Nintendo 3DS, but it’s also the first one made with Unity. More details about it will be shared at a later date, but in the mean time, we’ve added it to the Upcoming Releases page!

Mercenaries Saga 3

Here’s some more screenshots for Mercenaries Saga 3, releasing on Thursday in North America (and most likely next year in Europe):
