Dragon Ball Fusions: western release confirmed (NA: December 13th / EU: February)

In the past couple of days, there has been several signs pointing towards a localisation of Dragon Ball Fusions (on Nintendo 3DS). First, the game was rated in Brasil, which was already a confirmation in itself (it was unlikely Bandai-Namco would only release the game in that country). Then, certain GameStop started taking pre-orders, further confirming a western release.

And today, Bandai-Namco finally made a proper announcement: yes, Dragon Ball Fusions is indeed coming to Europe and North America! In fact, it’s even releasing this year… but only in North America:

  • North America: December 13th (already available on Amazon.com) [NB: affiliate link]
  • Europe: February 2017

Here’s the trailer shared by Bandai-Namco:

For those somehow missed our coverage of the Japanese release, Dragon Ball Fusions is a full-fledged RPG taking place in the Dragon Ball universe. It allows players to create totally impossible fusions thanks to a special ring, fusions which are at the very center of the game itself.

But it’s not just characters: even places and eras are fused in the game, thanks to the wish of the protagonist and his friend to create the ultimate tournament (they want to become the strongest warriors in the Dragon Ball universe and history).
