DEEEER Simulator announced for Nintendo Switch, out this November
Playism have announced their latest game for the Nintendo Switch: DEEEER Simulator, a wacky “simulator” developed by Gibier Games. It will be released November 25th worldwide, with Japan getting a retail release.
The retail release costs 3 980 Yen (vs. 1 980 Yen / $19.99 for the digital release), and includes the following:
- Original Soundtrack (17 tracks, including a bonus track featuring the deer’s voice)
- a DLC Pack containing additional skins and weapons
- a deer licence
- special packaging
The Nintendo Switch version will feature a special game mode called Cowthello, which is playable online. The game itself is playable in the following languages: English, Italian, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese.

DEEEER Simulator: Your Average Everyday Deer Game is a game planned to be made available on Steam in which you take on the role of the main character: a deer. Run around town freely taking advantage of the main character’s deer-specific attributes, such as your stretchy neck and your stabby antlers!
Put simply, DEEEER Simulator is a “Slow-Life Town Destruction Game”. You can spend your days enjoying a nice, relaxed frolic here and there together with the other animals around town, or you can choose to relieve some stress and absolutely destroy the town and everything in it. Of course, if you choose the destructive route, you may end up being chased down by police and meeting a tragic end!
Smash through everyday life in an unassuming town to unleash the true power of the deer!
Developed by Japanese indie developer Gibier Games, DEEER Simulator: Your Average Everyday Deer Game lets you play as a deer. This title is best described as a “Slow-Life Town Destruction Game”. You can spend your days frolicking around, enjoying a peaceful life with the other animals in town. Or, you can weaponize your stretchy neck and pointy antlers to completely destroy everything around you. Needless to say, going down the path of destruction will set the entire police force on you. If you want to avoid a tragic end, well, you know who to point your “weapons” at. The full version features an expanded storyline, taking you face to face with the final boss at the end.
