Dark Auction delayed to 2025

Last year, IzanagiGames ran a successful crowdfunding campaign for Dark Auction (full title: Dark Auction: Hitler’s Legacy), a new adventure game with an original story written by none other than Rika Suzuki (of CiNG and Riverhillsoft fame). It was initially slated for a 2024 release, but today, IzanagiGames announced that it has been delayed to 2025 in order to further improve the quality of the game.

In the press release sent today, the producer (Shinsuke Umeda) shares a few more details about this delay. He explains that development is progressing smoothly, and that the game is taking shape little by little every day.

However, it’s taking more time than expected due to the team focusing on a more realistic and richer presentation than originally planned. Also, the developers are making sure to focus on the exploration parts of the game (which features a 3D map).

The development team is committed to complete the game and make it a success.
