Oninaki

Square-Enix have shared some more details, as well as artworks and screenshots, for the 5 Daemons that accompany you during your journey in Oninaki (introduced yesterday):

  • Aisha (voiced by Naomi Oozora)
  • Zaav (voiced by Kenji Hakabane)
  • Wil (voiced by Tsubasa Yonaga)
  • Dia (voiced by Satomi Satou)
  • Izana (voiced by Megumi Toyoguchi)

Square-Enix specifies that the player can have up to 5 Daemons “equipped” at any time, and it’s from among those 4 that you can switch at any time during battle (which means there’s 1 Daemon on “stand-by”).

Each Daemon have their own skill tree, and you can unlock the various nodes using “Onitama” (dropped by enemies defeated in battle). This allows you to strengthen them by having them learn new moves and improve their abilities.
