AeternoBlade II

PQube have announced that AeternoBlade II will be released on October 11th in Europe and North America. A brand new trailer was revealed, alongside some more details for the game:

As you can see from the trailer, AeternoBlade II features fast-paced, intense combat where you can string together a massive hit count of relentess combos, in order to overwhelm your foes. The game takes places predominently from a side-scrolling perspective, but there are also full-3D scenarios that make for some truly epic encounters with bosses and enemies.

Either way, you can use the full set of moves at your disposal to launch enemies into the air, and finish them using sword strikes, dashes and impressive ultimate attacks. Each of the three playable characters is very agile, and you can leap, grapple and climb across intricately designed environments with vertical terrain.

But AeternoBlade II is about time, and how it’s power can be used with deadly consqeuences. By manipulating time, you can use it to overcome all obstacles, solve creative puzzles, and outwit even the most intimidating enemies. Your abilities include Time Stop, Warp and Reversal, so use them wisely.

Overpass

First announced back in April, Overpass was initially slated for an October release, but Bigben Interactive have announced that it’s been delayed to February.

Here’s some footage for the game, along with the latest set of details:

At the controls of 25 buggies and quads from big-name manufacturers (Arctic Cat, Yamaha, Polaris and Suzuki), players will need to negotiate scree slopes, steep inclines and various obstacles on extreme off-road and technically challenging tracks. With 40 routes in varied terrain and environments, a new challenge can be found in each race. Whether it involves hillclimbing or rock-crawling, the aim is to complete the race in the best time possible.

The realistic and technical level design, combined with the advanced physics engine, makes for an even greater challenge: mud, sand, rocks, natural and man-made obstacles… every type of terrain offers a unique test. Players must choose the vehicle best suited to the selected track, adapt their driving style and understand that speed is not always the answer. From expert control of acceleration, wise use of the transmission and differentials, and knowing when to shift from two- to four-wheel drive, there are many options to master on the road to off-road victory.

There are multiple game modes in Overpass™ : Career, Quick Race, Local Multiplayer (split screen and hotseat) and Online Multiplayer with up to eight players.
