Trine series

Last year, Frozenbyte announced that the entire Trine series was coming to the Nintendo Switch, with the first one released on the Nintendo eShop on the same day as the announcement. And today, they announced that the second game, Trine 2: Complete Story, will be released on February 18th on the Nintendo eShop.

For those of you who prefer to buy games at retail, here’s some good news for you: Trine Series 1-3 (which includes all 3 games) will be released this Spring in North America, courtesy of GameTrust (GameStop’s publishing arm). This confirms Trine 3: Artifacts of Power will be released this Spring, though we don’t know if it will be simultaneously with the Trilogy or not.

Q.U.B.E. 2

A few days ago, Toxic Games announced that Q.U.B.E. 2 will be released on February 21st in Europe and North America. It will cost 25.99€ / £22.99 / $29.99, but with a 15% off discount at launch. But those of you who are willing to pay a little bit more, you will be able to get a physical copy via Super Rare Games starting… today, for £29.99. But be careful: only 4 000 copies will be available.

This physical release includes the following:

  • 12 page, full colour manual
  • interior artwork
  • exclusive sticker
  • three trading cards (5 in total, selected at random)

Finally, here’s some more details about Q.U.B.E. 2:

Q.U.B.E. 2, sequel to the hit indie puzzle game, Q.U.B.E., puts players in the shoes of British archaeologist, Amelia Cross. Awaking among the ruins of an ancient alien landscape and with the help of fellow survivor, Emma, Amelia must face the challenges of the Q.U.B.E. in the hope of finding a way back home. Q.U.B.E. 2 features over 80 puzzles, diverse environments which expand the Q.U.B.E. world, new and improved game mechanics, full colour blind support and an original soundtrack by BAFTA-nominated composer, David Housden.
