Today, Broccoli have announced their very first game for the Nintendo Switch: Jack Jeanne, the latest project from Sui Ishida (who is none other than the creator of the Tokyo Ghoul manga). It has been in the works for 3 years now, and it’s getting quite the PR campaign, which is a sign of the “absolute confidence Broccoli has in this project, according to its CEO.
But they didn’t go with Sui Ishida just to have a pretty name to sell their game. He’s responsible not just of character design, he’s also producing almost every single aspect of the game: game world, stage setting, backgrounds, stills, song lyrics, gameplay systems, creators staffing, and more. As for the scenario, it’s co-produced by Shin Towada (who worked on the Tokyo Ghoul light novels).
