Dai Gyakuten Saiban: some screens and details for investigations, prosecutor’s name

Today, Capcom revealed a “new” batch of screenshots and details about Dai Gyakluten Saiban: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke. However, there’s nothing really new, as the contents covered are mostly the same as the second part of the Famitsu article, last week.

During the investigation segments, you will find the four usual options:

– Examine: you walk around the various areas, looking for clues. You use a cursor to examine interesting or suspicious areas, and once you’ve done that, the cursor gets a check mark to indicate which areas you’ve already examined;
– Move: allows you to go from one area to the other;
– Talk: allows you to talk to various people. Just like in the previous entries in the series, you get a list of topics to use;
– Present: allows you to present evidence to characters. In some cases, this will trigger a reaction and they’ll start talking.

Finally, Capcom reminded us about the Joint Reasoning, with Sherlock Holmes. The problem is, the great detective is such a genius, he often tends to oversee what’s right in front of him.

Here’s the new screenshots for Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken (3DS):

Finally, an interesting tidbit about the prosecutor’s name, and more precisely its spelling. A few weeks ago, we learned from some goodies that the name was “Baroque Bangieks”, but it looks like this has changed! An updated picture has been posted, and shows a different spelling: Barok van Zieks. It seems Capcom has some trouble making up its mind…
